Visit the Library between April 7th - 12th for a weeklong celebration! Special events, activities, and prizes for all ages!

Activities & Prize Drawings

Complete an Activity Challenge sheet during National Library Week to enter 1 of 8 art-themed prize basket drawings!

Rules

1 entry per person
Activities must be completed between April 7th-12th 2025.
Finished sheets must be submitted by April 12th at 5:45pm.
Winners will be drawn and notified April 14, 2025.
Prizes must be picked up in person by April 21, 2025. Prizes not picked up within 1 week will be redrawn.

Family Cardboard Night

6pm Monday, April 7th

Use your imagination and see what you can build with cardboard boxes, duct tape, and kid friendly cutting tools. This is a family event and children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Registration required.

Speed Date With a Book: Multi-Author Event

7pm Tuesday, April 8th

Meet six authors as they pitch their books in a rapid-fire "speed date with a book" event. Q&A, sales, and signings will follow the presentations.

The Library's large meeting room, tables, and chairs will be open to the public for board, card, and tabletop games. Bring your favorite games, friends, or both! All ages welcome.

4pm & 7pm Thursday, April 10th

Monthly book club for kids, ages 7-16, and their grownups. Themed snacks provided. Attendees may register and pick up a copy of the current month's book from the front desk.

Family Chalk Art

11am-1pm Saturday, April 12th

Help us decorate the sidewalks on the plaza with chalk art. All are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Event is weather dependent. Registration encouraged.

Library CLUE Game!

Channel your inner detective to complete the "Clue Into Your Library" game board!

Players must "travel" to different "rooms" on the board to solve puzzles and complete activities. After completing 3 or more rooms, the game board becomes an entry for 1 of 7 CLUE-themed prize baskets!

The game is afoot April 8th - 13th! Suitable for sleuths of all ages. One entry per person.
